It’s that time again. I’m working on this Sunday’s Seven Bops playlist and I would love to hear what you’re listening to. I’m in a romantic mood this week so the new Joseph Solomon single has been on repeat:
What’s in your rotation this week? If you’ve got recommendations, pull up to the thread with:
Your name + where in the world you’re sharing from,
The artist and title of the songs that’ve been moving you through the week, and
What makes the song a bop?
Submissions are open until Friday, May 5 at 6pm EST.
Firstuvall, 'preciate you so much for this weekly playlist practice you've got going on. It's giving so much goodness 🤗
1. Danita in Philly
2. Jessie Ware - Hello Love (from her new aptly titled album That! Feels Good!)
3. I'm a sucker for a mid-tempo song that's got some hip sway in it, but as I was writing a whole explanation the lyrics hit me—issa bop because, "Blooming like the joys of spring /
Flower petals draw our names / Kisses sweet like candy rain / How sweet to know you again." Also really love the delivery in 2:10-2:25. That's some frolic 'n twirl stuff.
